On April 28, Xinyangfeng Agricultural Technology Co., Ltd. (hereinafter referred to as Xinyangfeng) announced that it plans to invest in the construction of projects related to phosphorus-based new energy materials and advanced phosphorus chemical industry chains in Dongbao District and Zhongxiang City, Hubei Province. 　　In recent years, Xinyangfeng has seized the opportunities presented by the development of the new energy industry. While strengthening its leading position in the phosphorus-based fertilizer sector, it has actively expanded into the field of phosphorus-based new energy materials. It has built and put into operation two production facilities in Jingmen, with a combined annual capacity of 100,000 tons of ferric phosphate, thereby gradually establishing a business model based on two main areas: phosphorus-based fertilizers and phosphorus-based new energy materials. Currently, both sets of equipment are operating at full capacity, with sales exceeding supply. 　　Building on the successful experience of existing iron phosphate production facilities, the new phosphorus-based energy and materials project will focus on expanding its operations downstream. With an investment of around 3 billion yuan, it plans to build production lines capable of manufacturing 300,000 tons of lithium iron phosphate per year, as well as 200,000 tons of iron phosphate per year, thereby creating an integrated production chain for iron phosphate and lithium iron phosphate. The high-precision phosphorus chemical industry chain project extends upstream to the purification sector. It plans to invest approximately 3.2 billion yuan to construct facilities for producing 100,000 tons of iron phosphate annually, as well as projects for the upgrading and transformation of the high-precision phosphorus chemical industry and related supporting facilities. 　　The head of the Strategic Investment Department at Xin Yangfeng said, “The successful commissioning of the 100,000-ton-per-year iron phosphate production facility fully demonstrates the company’s strengths in quality control and cost management.” By launching new projects in both Jingmen locations simultaneously, the company aims to leverage this advantage and evolve from a mere precursor supplier into a comprehensive solutions provider for phosphorus-based materials. ”To date, the board of directors has approved the two new projects; the next step is to submit them to the shareholders’ meeting for review, while also working on finalizing the official investment agreements with the local government.
