In 2026, during the 25th National “Safety Production Month”, everyone is encouraged to prioritize safety and be capable of responding to emergencies; efforts are also being made to identify and rectify potential risks and hazards. -------------------------------------------------- At 11:00 a.m. on June 5th, the instrument air compressor for the air separation unit of Yitai Yili Energy Co., Ltd.’s 1-million-ton/year coal-to-oil demonstration project was successfully tested on its first attempt. All operational parameters are stable and all indicators meet the specified standards, laying a solid foundation for the subsequent construction, commissioning, and full operation of the air separation unit. The successful trial run has also provided practical experience for the subsequent commissioning of units and integrated test runs. Moving forward, the air separation unit will seize this opportunity to continuously and strictly implement the company’s overall plans for project construction. It will also continue to refine its meticulous management practices while ensuring strict control over construction quality, work safety, and project progress. The total investment in the 1-million-ton-per-year coal-to-oil demonstration project of Yitai Yili Energy Co., Ltd. is approximately 21.043 billion yuan. The project site is located in the Yinan Industrial Park in Chabuchar Sibe Autonomous County, Xinjiang. The project is scheduled to be completed and put into operation in June 2028, with an annual production capacity of 1.0582 million tons of products such as alkylbenzenes, high-carbon alcohols, high-quality light hydrocarbons, FTO waxes, n-C10-14 compounds, white oils, liquid paraffins, and liquefied petroleum gas; meanwhile, by-products such as mixed alcohols and sulfur will also be generated. The main project primarily includes production facilities such as air separation, coal gasification, purification, oil synthesis, hydrogen production from tail gases, and oil processing. Complementary public utility and auxiliary projects include the construction of a thermal power plant, water treatment plant, circulating water system, etc.; storage and transportation facilities such as coal silos and storage tanks; and environmental protection projects like wastewater treatment and reuse systems.
