The 25th National \"Safety Production Month\" in 2026: Everyone should talk about safety and know how to handle emergencies; risks and hazards need to be identified and addressed. -------------------------------------------------- On June 16, the website of the Xinjiang Uyghur Autonomous Region Environmental Protection Industry Association published the second round of public information regarding the environmental impact assessment for the LDPE/EVA pilot plant project of Sinopec Dushanzi Petrochemical Company. In January 2026, at the request of PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Company, Xinjiang Zhengtian Huaneng Environmental Engineering Technology Co., Ltd. was entrusted with conducting the environmental impact assessment for the “Pilot Plant Project for LDPE/EVA at PetroChina Dushanzi Petrochemical Company”. This initiative aims to safeguard the legitimate environmental rights and interests of the general public, enhance the scientific rigor and relevance of environmental impact assessments, and improve the rationality and effectiveness of environmental protection measures. In accordance with the relevant provisions of the Environmental Impact Assessment Law of the People’s Republic of China and the Measures for Public Participation in Environmental Impact Assessment (Ministerial Order No. 4), a second public announcement is being made regarding the environmental impact assessment for this project, in order to make the draft environmental impact assessment report available to the public and seek their opinions and suggestions.
