I passed one subject in the Foundation Exam for Chemical Engineering in 2014; I want to take the exam again in 2015. Do I still need to take that subject that I already passed last year?
To pass the basic examination, one must pass both the professional foundation courses and the general foundation courses within the same examination year; only after passing the basic examination can one take the professional examination.
If the sum of the professional foundation and general foundation scores is 132 or higher, the candidate is considered to have passed and does not need to take the exam again
I agree with what was said above; to pass, the total score of these two basic subjects must be greater than 132 points, and individual subject scores are not taken into account
Won’t the grades from last year be retained?
Do you mean the basic courses, the general basic courses, or the specialized basic courses? Only by passing all of them can one be considered to have truly passed
Not retained. The standard for passing both subjects simultaneously is that the total score for both subjects must be at least 132 points.
