Base metal test plate

For the tube side and head of the heat exchanger, material S30403 is to be used; for the shell side, Q345R is required (no normalization is needed before delivery). May I ask if a base metal test plate is necessary? Where can I find that standard?
It’s not necessary. No special requirements; no base metal verification test plates needed
For base metal test plates that need to be prepared, follow clause 4.3.3 of the solid content specification P20. I originally wanted to send a screenshot, but I don’t know how to do that.:lol
This depends on whether the head is cold-formed or hot-formed, whether heat treatment is required to restore properties, and whether the heat treatment condition of the base material has been altered, among other factors.
