In the pretreatment section of the alkylation unit, what impact will excessive COD levels in the water washing tower have on subsequent operations?
It can cause a shock to the organic load in wastewater treatment; however, if the amount is small or there is an ample volume of water available, or if the wastewater regulation tank and its treatment capacity have sufficient flexibility, then there will not be a significant impact.
