Currently, I am working on a Fenton oxidation reactor by modifying a conventional reactor; the heat generated during the reaction is excessive. Even by adding hydrogen peroxide gradually and using chilled brine, it is not possible to achieve the required cooling effect. I plan to use an external circulation system along with a condenser. I was wondering if anyone here has any experience with such designs, as I am concerned about production capacity and want to minimize the time required for adding the reagents.
I haven’t done it before, but hearing what you say about this situation, I could consider using jacketed heat exchange as well as internal coil heat exchange, simultaneously
What is the capacity of the reaction vessel? Is heating necessary? Whether stirring is needed, where to install the motor, and so on
6300L: Heating is required at the beginning of the reaction, but once the temperature reaches around 80 degrees, the exothermic reaction allows the process to continue, and cooling is then necessary. To stir, install it on top.
From a structural perspective, conventional jacketed designs are likely not sufficient to meet the requirements
