Our factory’s coke ovens are now 15 years old, and due to issues with daily maintenance, erosion in some of the oven heads is quite severe, as is leakage. Are there any effective solutions for this problem?
I know there’s some kind of ceramic welding technique that’s said to be quite advanced, but it only provides protection for one year, and the cost is very high. I’m not sure what the results will be after applying it
The most fundamental solution is still to patch it up
Fill the lower part, and weld-cement the upper part with ceramic.
Coke oven thermal repair technology is already quite mature, but ceramic welding materials are still best produced by foreign companies; however, some domestic factories are also researching and producing such welding materials! !
