For the major overhaul of Zhenhai Petrochemical’s low-temperature methanol washing unit in 2009, the chemical cleaning company hired was Gansu Heima Petrochemical Engineering Co., Ltd.; for the overhaul in 2006, it was Lanzhou Huarong Cleaning and Anti-corrosion Technology Co., Ltd. that was engaged. When cleaning the bottom of a low-temperature methanol washing tower, opening manholes without nitrogen protection may lead to self-heating and spontaneous combustion, with severe consequences!
