Let’s discuss the issue of leak prevention for unit instruments

In our refinery, the instrument probes and temperature sensors of various compressors all suffer from some degree of oil leakage; sealant is generally used to address this issue. I was wondering if anyone here has better methods to solve this problem of oil leakage.
Generally, a sealing assembly + PTFE tape + specialized sealant is used, or the lowest point is modified
Clean the oil before applying glue; this will prevent leaks
All component threads should be sealed with sealant – the kind used by fitters for maintaining machinery; do not use PTFE, as it is sensitive to oil. Additionally, brackets specifically designed for Bentley systems are a good choice; using them in combination with reverse-mounted probes can effectively address oil leakage issues. Moreover, the brackets used by domestic machinery manufacturers are often poorly crafted; it is advisable to check that these rough surfaces are cleaned thoroughly before tightening the probes, and to apply a small amount of sealant
