Is a venturi tube considered a pressure vessel? The test pressure is 6 MPa and the volume is 280 L. Some people say it isn’t, but I think it meets the first two criteria of the regulations regarding pressure vessels; as for the third criterion, it’s hard to say

However, if the venturi tube is used at higher pressure levels, it is necessary to refer to the standards for pressure components. A container should refer to something that can hold a certain amount of fluid medium, such as kettles, tanks, heat exchangers, reactors, etc. I haven’t heard that throttle elements are also classified as container types.
The venturi tube mentioned in the encyclopedia is used in industrial pipelines; it belongs to pipeline components, right?
