Problems with propane refrigeration in light hydrocarbon recovery

My plant is a light hydrocarbon recovery unit with a processing capacity of 100,000 cubic meters, and the system uses propane for cooling. At present, there is a problem where propane leaks unintentionally during use; leaks have been detected in various pipelines and valves. Observed phenomena during use: In the propane evaporator, the liquid level in propane suddenly evaporates, causing the level to drop by 8–10 CM; at the same time, the pressure in the evaporator increases by 0.2–0.3 mPa. After half an hour to one hour, the liquid level returns to around 8 CM. It is not clear what causes this phenomenon. I hope experienced friends can offer some help. Thank you
