What is the typical height difference between double-layer pipe corridors?
I don’t understand. Is it the vertical distance between the centerlines of the two pipes? Leaving? If leaving, it needs to be more than one person’s height; if staying, as long as the large pipe can be placed there, that’s fine.

The height of the pipe gallery should be determined by taking into account several factors: the diameter of the pipes, to ensure easy installation; the placement of branch pipes and the arrangement of tension bends, for which sufficient space is required; space for maintenance; the layout of maintenance walkways; and other factors as well. Generally, the ceiling height of a pipe gallery is set at two meters, with some more compact designs having a height of 1.6 meters
Does it have to be this big? Is 1 meter enough?
The spacing between the layers of a double-layer pipe gallery should be determined based on the diameter of the pipes; under normal circumstances, it should not be less than 1.2 meters.
If it’s 1 meter, after deducting the height of the steel structure itself, the actual available space is very limited. If the welding location is problematic, this approach can be used due to space constraints
Inspections and routine operations are generally not carried out on pipe racks; if space is limited, the clearance should be kept at 1.2. Pipelines are generally below DN500
The original ceiling height in our workshop was 1.2 meters; as the scale of the installations has increased, it is now generally 1.4 meters. The height difference between layers in the pipe tray is generally required to be 1.2–2.0 m, while the height difference between the crossbeams and the support beams is 0.6–1.0 m, depending on the scale of the installation and the diameter of the majority of pipes.
