The drive shaft of the rake feeder has four rake arms, two long and two short. There are scrapers on it that, as they rotate, scrape the sludge at the bottom of the clarification tank toward the central plunger valve at the bottom, and then it is processed by a fine slag filter.
A material raking machine essentially uses the scraper on it to lift the mortar that has settled at the bottom of the clarifying tank to the base of the cone for removal, so that the mortar does not accumulate at the bottom. You will also find that the material raking machine has a function to raise the rake; when there is too much mortar at the bottom, exceeding the machine’s set torque, the rake rises, which serves to protect the machine.
