Speaking and listening practice: Features include one-on-one instruction with foreign teachers, a variety of course options, relatively low prices, and the possibility of free trial lessons. Recommendation: Spend 25 minutes per day practicing speaking with a foreign teacher; consistent practice over several months will lead to significant improvements in speaking skills. Record the lessons to help reinforce what has been learned. Suitable for: Everyone, including those with no prior knowledge. There are more than a dozen high-quality courses available, such as children’s English, TOEFL, IELTS, business English, and courses prepared for studying abroad. 2. Webb’s Dictionary for Practicing Pronunciation: Features: It is a comprehensive dictionary from around the world, with absolutely accurate pronunciations, and it is very helpful for correcting pronunciation. Tip: Enter the word whose pronunciation you want to hear in the input box in the middle of the webpage, then click “Search”. On the search results page, click the red speaker icon next to the word to hear its pronunciation. 3. Memory Word – Maisi Word Memorization App: Features: Allows word memorization offline; each word is accompanied by exaggerated and funny images, making learning less boring and more efficient. The review order is arranged according to the memory curve, which is particularly useful for those who lack perseverance. Suggestion: Spend at least 30 minutes per day, ideally half an hour in the morning and half an hour in the evening. The goal is to write 100–150 words per day, with an aim to memorize 80–120 of them. It won’t be long before the words can be mastered.
