I’m not sure whether you’re looking for formaldehyde produced using the silver method or the iron-molybdenum method. Many manufacturers in China are able to produce formaldehyde using the silver method, while the process for the iron-molybdenum method is of foreign origin; I think it’s from Sweden

The formaldehyde technology is relatively simple; our design institute can handle it. However, the iron-molybdenum method technology needs to be introduced; domestic equipment manufacturers using the silver method can handle EPC work, so a design institute may not be necessary.
