There is still a long way to go from laboratory tests to industrial application! It’s especially difficult!
It seems there are several companies in China that use the condensation hydrogenation process, such as Lihua Yi and Sanju Environmental Protection; I’m not sure how well their operations are going at present. If it fails to go into production, what are the difficulties? Is it due to inadequate pilot studies, or are the details of the industrial design insufficient? The Germans are really impressive; many of their manufacturing techniques are unique and have not been industrialized in China.
When domestic industries speak in such terms, it means that this industry is not far from disaster. As long as the technology is domestically produced, the benefits are decent, so surely everyone will rush to adopt it.
I can’t remember which economist said it – was it Ma Guangyuan or someone else? They said that the Chinese have a particular skill: once they master a certain technology, they can turn high-tech products from abroad into products that can be sold at street stalls
