Paragraph 7.3 of 12337-2014 states that each spherical tank shall provide 6 base metal welding test plates, whereas paragraph 8.9.1.1.3 specifies that 2 welding test pieces made by vertical welding and horizontal plus overhead welding should be prepared for each spherical tank. Are these two requirements contradictory?
