Dear colleagues in the instrumentation field, V-cone flowmeters are used to measure the volumetric flow rate of gases. Now we want to expand the measurement range; knowing the desired range, how should this pressure difference be calculated? Thank you all
For accurate data, please contact the flow meter manufacturer for processing. The general principle is that the ratio of the scale pressure difference to the expanded pressure difference is in a quadratic relationship with the ratio of the scale flow rate to the expanded flow rate (similar to the pressure-flow relationship of standard throttling devices).

Calculate the flow coefficient, and expand it however you want
