What will happen if there is poor flow or restriction at the inlet of the vacuum tower bottom pump?
The pump does not deliver sufficient flow; sometimes there is loud noise due to the vibration of the pipelines
The pump becomes evacuated, the output volume cannot be increased, and the liquid level at the bottom of the tower rises, etc
The vibration of the pump increases, the pressure gauge at the pump’s outlet fluctuates, and the opening degree of the pump’s outlet valve is insufficient; once it is opened, vacuum is created.
The main issues are pump cavitation, a drop in outlet pressure, an increase in the liquid level at the bottom of the tower, as well as excessive vibration and noise from the pump
