Fuchs positioners: logix3200iq-28-D6-E-04-40-0G-OF and logix3200iq-10-D6-E-04-40-0G-OF. What is the difference between them? Today, each of us used one unit. For the model 28, connecting it to the DCS is sufficient; for the model 10, using the same connection method results in IOP values. Does anyone know why this is the case? How should I respond to a 10 feedback?
10 and 28 are merely the safety certifications for this type of locator; there is not much difference in terms of functionality. As for your claim that the model 28 can be connected to a DCS while model 10 cannot, it is recommended to check the following: 1. Open the locator and verify that all connectors are properly seated. 2. Measure the feedback of 10 using a signal generator alone (with DCS disconnected). 3. Try swapping the feedback boards of 10 and 28 to see what happens. If there is still no response with a 10 feedback, please contact the local Fosse agent to handle it. Thank you! Thank you so much; you’re absolutely right. The manufacturer deceived me. I checked it today, and it turned out that the feedback cable wasn’t connected – I just connected it and now it works. Thank you!
