As the title suggests, are there anyone who has been through this? Could you share your experience?
I’m not sure what the policies for professional title evaluation are in Beijing; anyway, I was able to go through the process in Shenzhen, even though I don’t have a residence registration there nor any official records. The reviewed files are still in my possession.

Go and develop in your hometown. Apart from the amount you have to pay out of your own pocket for schooling, a large portion of the educational resources are provided by the people there. Why rush to cities like Beijing, Shanghai, and Guangzhou? Without a local residence permit, you can’t contribute your youth, knowledge, and skills to them, and you won’t be able to enjoy many benefits and opportunities either. So why go through all that?
Go to where the records are kept to handle the matter; since they have the right to charge you a fee for record management, they are also obligated to carry out these tasks for you. (However, there will be no archive management fee starting this year.)
I’m also taking the intermediate level exam. I’ve just transferred my records to my place of work; actually, it’s not necessary to do that… In your case, you can handle it directly through the record-keeping service, but the approval from your current employer is required – once the application form is filled out, it can be submitted to the place where the records are kept to get things processed……
When the archive is located in a different place from one’s workplace, it becomes very troublesome to obtain a professional title, as one has to travel to both locations. First, go and get the forms and materials; after filling them out at your workplace, seek approval from your supervisor by having them sign and stamp them, then submit them to the archives department. It’s good if everything goes smoothly on the first try. If there are any mistakes in the filling out, one has to go back to the office to fill it out again and get the supervisor to sign and stamp it, which is very troublesome.

I’m in the same situation as the original poster; the declaration form in Beijing needs to be stamped at the location where the files are kept. You can send it back for a relative to stamp it, or you can stamp it yourself. I have passed the intermediate level exam; I’m just waiting for my certificate.
