Generally, the purchase of counterfeit reagents is directly or indirectly related to procurement processes – either through acceptance of bribes, purchasing at low prices, or by connected parties taking advantage of companies. Test the reagent for purity, then resolutely return it and hold the responsible party accountable.
Buying fake products is a problem of the procurement department; it can be reported to the management. The potassium iodide I have used has never been fake.
