Can electronic scales and mechanical scales be included in an SOP management document?

Hello everyone? Can the SOPs for electronic scales and mechanical scales be combined, such as operating procedures and maintenance procedures? It would be better if there were references. Thank you!
In my opinion, it’s completely possible to write them together, but there are many differences in terms of operating requirements and maintenance between electronic scales and mechanical scales; therefore, when drafting SOPs, they should be addressed separately and clearly. Many manufacturers’ instruction manuals provide details on the operating requirements and precautions for the scale, which can be used as a reference.
