It’s a new order I got today; a factory is undergoing renovations due to safety issues. The process is relatively simple: it involves feeding in the material, heating it, stirring it, and then discharging it. The media include black powder, diethylamine, acrylonitrile, carbon disulfide, and the like. The original process was workshop-based, with glass tube level gauges on the storage tanks and manual ball valves for feeding. Now, it’s necessary to modify the magnetic flap level gauge, add explosion-proof solenoid valves for feeding, as well as several temperature transmitters and pressure transmitters. Flaming is not allowed at the site; the storage tank has only been roughly emptied and not cleaned. The customer requires that all items be domestically produced. Flaming is not allowed, and it’s difficult to make modifications at the site, as the instrument interfaces need to be opened and some brackets and similar components have to be welded in place for the installation of the instruments. Anyone can make such a gauge; the question is whether it’s good or not

In China, one can choose some larger enterprises; in Jiangsu, we have Tiankang from Anhui, Hongguang from Jiangsu, as well as Betek Industrial Control, and any of these will work fine if there are no specific requirements
All of these can be manufactured domestically; it’s not practical to use open flames, and increasing the number of measurement points too much is also not feasible.
The key question is not whose gauge it is. Is the opening large enough now? Can it be done without using fire? Without using open flames, I suggest you go with a wireless one. . . . It’s expensive. .
Magnetic flap level gauges can be connected to the interface of glass tube level gauges; it’s not a problem to replace ball valves with solenoid valves. Devices such as thermal resistors should preferably be installed in the newly added pipelines. If you’re looking for a manufacturer, I can help.
