Is switching from a chemical engineering design firm to an environmental protection company detrimental to one’s career development?

Right after graduating from undergraduate, I started working at a chemical engineering design institute, where I was engaged in chemical engineering design for nearly 7 years. With few projects available, there wasn’t much work to do. A few months ago I switched to an environmental protection company; the salary there was decent, but the projects involved were small-scale, the design documents were incomplete, and the designs weren’t prepared in accordance with standards. The design approach is a bit chaotic, and working on the project makes me feel constrained. Is it detrimental to one’s own development? Is it necessary to stay here, or should I wait until the situation in the chemical industry improves before returning to work in chemical engineering design? . . I'm so confused! :(
What kind of development do you want? To develop, don’t you need to have food first? Otherwise I’ll starve to death

The poster said, “The design documents are not very complete, and the design does not follow the specifications.” The design approach is a bit chaotic, and working on projects feels restrictive. Isn’t this exactly an opportunity to use one’s own experience, knowledge, and skills to improve the design quality of environmental protection organizations? It’s a challenge, but it’s also an opportunity!
You are now in the entrepreneurial phase, so focus on growing first, and success will follow. This is the approach to development; just like in design, you start by imitating and then create something original.

I thought the same thing at that time. Many suggestions were made. But the others completely ignore me. . Everyone goes their own way, and the leaders also think I’m too meddling. . Give me some ideological guidance, saying that in the workplace one must avoid being too assertive and should keep a low profile. Drawing is the simplest step in the design process; what’s most important are the ideas and the technical aspects of the manufacturing process. A diagram can be drawn by just any person.
Some of today’s environmental protection companies can start taking on projects as long as they have a few employees, and the quality of their work is directly proportional to the current quality of the environment: lol
