Issues related to the management of spare parts for imported equipment
State-owned enterprises use a lot of imported equipment, but they also bear the task of localizing such equipment; whenever possible, they opt for domestically produced equipment.
What are the imported equipment used in your company? How is the performance? How do you manage spare parts for imported equipment? Should imported spare parts be used exclusively, or should there be a gradual shift to domestic alternatives? And what is the stability of the equipment during this process of gradual localization? Our rich gas compressors and main fans were manufactured by Jinhua Machinery; later, that company was acquired by Siemens, and as a result the equipment became imported. Every time parts needed to be purchased, they were counted as imported parts. The management ordered that only original factory parts be used, which meant we had to pay much more money to Siemens! ! ! Both machines have been working well!
Guizhou Tianfu Chemical Co., Ltd. has 5 compression units: 3 of them are made by Shenyang Turbine, 1 by Siemens, and 1 by Elliott. Whether the equipment is domestic or imported, the spare parts used are original ones from the manufacturers, and they are extremely expensive – for example, an O-ring from Elliott can cost hundreds of thousands of yuan. Even for the same components from Shenmu domestically, the price at which Shenmu sells them is much higher than that at which agents sell them.
The accessories for Atlas are also extremely expensive; those for non-critical parts are purchased from the market, which is worrying··
Imported equipment mainly refers to key devices such as compressors; management focuses on spare parts, operation, and routine maintenance. The adoption of domestic alternatives should be carried out gradually based on local conditions, as the risks are high and any problems that arise would be difficult to deal with
In state-owned enterprises, key equipment is still imported, such as syngas compressors, hydrogen compressors, and propylene compressors; no major problems have arisen over the years. The rest of the equipment is domestic-made, including nitrogen compressors and recycle gas compressors, but they require more frequent maintenance
All of our equipment is domestically produced; the centrifugal compressors are from Shengli Heavy Industry, while the reciprocating and screw compressors are also of domestic origin. The performance is also good.
Both the compressor and the liquid pump are imported, as are the spare parts. The nitrogen compressor is domestic-made, but it has quite a few problems; despite several repairs, there are still minor leaks. In comparison, the imported ones are much better
