Recently, a colleague asked for help in designing a heat exchanger; this eventually led to the development of the process design and equipment manufacturing for the entire project, with the client assigning him the whole task. It is a 50,000-ton food-grade XXXX project involving the design and supply of equipment; we are responsible for the design of all heat exchangers, reactors, and towers, while Haiyou handles the supply. Once the project is completed, I will share with you the modern designs of the heat exchangers and towers involved – showing how it’s possible to make money easily and elegantly by leveraging technology. Speed is of the essence: complete all equipment calculations, design, finalization, and drafting within 10 days. Upon seeing the design, the owner gave his approval and paid 30% of the design fee immediately; another 30% will be paid within a few days for equipment manufacturing and related costs.
