What is the Mitsui Cup? How come I’ve never heard of it?
It was a few years ago; it was on the computer I used when I was in school, but unfortunately it’s broken now and can’t be used.
It is a chemical engineering design competition. It used to be the South China Chemical Engineering Design Competition, and now it has been upgraded to the Mitsui Cup. Previous competitions were limited to several petrochemical-related universities in South China, including South China University of Technology, Guangdong University of Petrochemical Technology (Maoming University), Guangdong University of Technology, Sun Yat-sen University, Wuyi University, and Guangxi University; these institutions took turns hosting the event each year. The competitions are also quite professional; they focus mainly on the design of petrochemical plants, with little content that is not relevant to this field, which greatly helps students improve their skills. But it’s being done now; well, I’ll not say anything more.
