Why must plug valves not be used for draining media with an operating temperature >60°C?
Threaded plugs must not be used for draining fluids at operating temperatures greater than 60°C, as this can cause burns
I have a question: where did I see this requirement? Is it necessary to use no thread plugs, rather threaded pipe caps? Or should flange covers be used?~~~
Firstly, when the plug is unscrewed to drain the liquid, it sprays outward at an angle; this can easily cause burns with liquids that are hot. Additionally, it is not easy to control the drainage speed properly~~
