The situation is as follows: The computer runs Windows 8, which comes with Net.Framework 4.5. I am trying to install Aspen Plus v7.2, and the installation process so far has been successful. During operation, the Aspen Plus V7.2 window will appear, and after that the computer becomes unresponsive. I checked online and it says that version 4.0 of the framework works fine. The problems now are: 1. Win8 already comes with 4.5, so it’s not possible to install Framework 4.0. 2. Since it’s part of the operating system, Framework 4.5 cannot be uninstalled either. 3. Aspen cannot run properly under Framework 4.5. So the solution that comes to mind now is: 1. Find a way to uninstall 4.5 and install 4.0 (it seems impossible at the moment; it’s not even possible to uninstall it). If anyone knows how to uninstall it, please let me know. Thank you! ) 2. Rebuild the system (it’s too troublesome; I really don’t want to do it!!! ) So what I want to ask is, is there any way to make Aspen Plus V7.2 run under Framework 4.0? Are there any other ways to solve the issue of the Aspen program not being able to run? Is there any? Is there any? I’m going to cry for a while first. . .
1. Why install such an old version of Aspen? If you install version 8.0 or higher, you shouldn’t encounter that problem. 2. If you really want to use 7.2, you can install a virtual machine and put 7.2 in it; that’s what I do. . .
Run cmd.exe as an administrator. Enter Dism /online /enable-feature /featurename:NetFx3 /All /Source::\sources\sxs /LimitAccess. Drive is the drive letter of your system installation disk.
What should I do if I can’t find a cracked license for v8.4?
Although higher versions offer powerful features, they require high-specification computer systems in terms of both hardware and software; lower versions are stable enough for normal use with minimal risks. Virtual machines upstairs are also a good option!
