Design of shared systems

I’ve been working on design projects recently, and there are no issues with the process flow. It’s just that I don’t know where to start when it comes to public systems. Once the process part is completed, an energy consumption table is generated. How can we use this table to design and arrange the pipes for the utility systems? Are there any relevant books and materials? I hope everyone can share them. I flipped through the Chemical Engineering Design Manual but couldn’t find this information.
