What are the hazards caused by the detachment of wear-resistant materials in the worn areas of a circulating fluidized bed boiler?
The detachment of wear-resistant materials causes the heated surfaces to be directly exposed to high-temperature flue gases, which can easily damage various components of the boiler. The wear on the walls of these heated surfaces increases rapidly, increasing the risk of accidents such as tube bursts. Furthermore, the wear-resistant material of the J-valve return hopper comes off and falls inside the hopper, resulting in poor fluidization of the bed material within it; this prevents proper and continuous material return, thereby posing a serious threat to the normal combustion of the boiler.
