How should one deal with the various beggars on the streets – should one give them money or not?
I won’t give it; even begging has become an industry.
It depends; if they look pitiful, I’ll give them some money for a steamed bun. These people, even if they’re acting, are good actors. It should be given.
It was given sincerely indeed, but I haven’t seen such a thing in over a decade.
Just passing by, doing nothing special. At the Beishan Temple Fair in Jilin, I saw with my own eyes that from the foot of the mountain to the top, there was one of various types every 50 meters – it’s really no exaggeration at all! ! At 12 noon, a van came specifically to deliver food to them. The car will pick you up in the afternoon. When I see it, I just feel a tightness in my scalp, as well as various sores and people missing arms or legs.
You’re talking about the “New Beggars’ Gang”; I say we should still give them something, but not everything. We should give them what they can’t get otherwise, else they won’t have anything to eat.
There are two types of people: I refuse to help either type, whether their claims are true or not. I won’t give money to those who ask for it outright, nor to beggars carrying children. As for other beggars, I really think I would give to them.
Beggers who carry children should be reported; which biological parent would do such a thing?
Based on age, it is given to the elderly, but not to young people or middle-aged people.
