Why is it required that the pressure drop in the inlet pipe of a vertical thermosyphon reboiler be greater than that in the outlet pipe? What consequences will arise if this is not done? Seek advice from experts
Reduce the flow rate, increase the residence time, extend the time for adequate heat exchange, and increase the gasification rate.
I’ve seen in some materials that if the outlet pressure drop is greater than the inlet pressure drop, it can cause unstable operation of the reboiler. Does this instability refer to issues such as an excessive outlet flow rate or a low vaporization rate? Please help explain this
