Our company specializes in translating technical documentation for imported equipment used in large-scale projects; the documents translated cover various industries such as chemicals, power generation, metallurgy, electronics, light textiles, and construction. I have provided translation services for over a hundred large-scale enterprises and projects, including the turbine units on the left bank of the Three Gorges Project on the Yangtze River, the polypropylene project at Sinopec Zhenhai Refining & Chemical Co., Ltd., the technical upgrade project for the 100,000-ton/year polypropylene plant of Sinopec Yanbian Refining Group, the 900,000-ton/year ethylene production project at Sinopec Shanghai Sinopec Petrochemical Co., Ltd., Baosteel’s own power plant, the technical upgrade project for the 240,000-ton ethylene production plant at Lanzhou Petrochemical Company, Huaneng Shanghai Gas-fired Power Plant, Fushun Thermal Power Plant, the 4×60MW power generation units at Inner Mongolia Tuoketuo Power Plant, and the 2×500MW power generation units at Shanxi Datang Shentou Power Plant. Due to business expansion, we are urgently seeking full-time translation and proofreading staff. The job description is as follows: 1. Experience in proofreading work is required, with at least 5 years of relevant experience; those with prior experience in translation companies will be given priority. 2. Experience in translation for the chemical and power industries. 3. Age over 30 years. 4. A bachelor’s degree or higher, in English or a related field. 5. Possesses excellent writing skills, with expressive language that is standard, fluent, and concise, enabling adaptation to various linguistic styles. 6. Able to maintain sensitivity to text for extended periods even under heavy workloads, with a strong ability to learn new knowledge and a diligent attitude. 7. Meticulous and patient, with a strong sense of responsibility, as well as good communication skills, professional ethics, and teamwork spirit. 8. Familiar with the Internet, and capable of using the Windows operating system and Office suite of word processing software proficiently.
