Hello everyone, I have a question. For example, let’s say we have three LNG storage tanks. After one of these tanks is emptied, before it is put back into use, should the temperature of the tank be lowered to the level corresponding to LNG before filling it with LNG again? Under normal conditions, could the cylinder itself be damaged as a result of thermal stress? Or was this factor already taken into account when selecting the material for the cylinder? Because in LPG, we generally first pressurize the gaseous petroleum gas to the operating pressure before injecting the liquid petroleum gas into the cylinder. Please advise

Pre-cool with nitrogen; once the desired temperature is reached, fill the tank with LNG, and then continue to remove some of the gas until the tank is completely filled with LNG.
Typically, LNG storage tanks are equipped with a top inlet pipe, which is a spray pipe located at the top of the container and used for the initial filling of the tank. Generally speaking, it is not recommended to use up all the LNG in the tank; some should be left to maintain a low temperature and prevent exposure to air. If it is confirmed that the gas in your tank is natural gas, with only a higher temperature. The top inlet method can be used, with the exhaust port opened slightly at the same time; after liquid has been introduced for a while, the exhaust port can then be closed ;
