How to solve the caking problem of powdered monoammonium. The caking of powdered ammonium produced in our factory is quite severe, which affects product sales, especially those packaged in ton bags. We have visited several manufacturing plants to learn from their experiences, but we have still been unable to resolve this issue; we are seeking the opinions of colleagues on this matter. In our factory, 58% of the products have a moisture content of less than 2%, and 55% have a moisture content of less than 4%; the packaging is done at around 45 degrees Celsius.
Add an anti-caking agent; there’s one called TCP-A, give it a try

There are mainly three reasons for the caking of ammonium phosphate: 1. product moisture, 2. packaging temperature, 3. phosphoric acid impurities. Recently, I compared it with Sierte’s products; the moisture content and packaging temperature of these products are roughly the same or slightly lower, but the levels of impurities such as Fe, Al, Mg, and CaO are slightly higher. This is directly related to the type of ore used in production – Sierte uses phosphate rock from other regions combined with ore from Hubei, while we use only ore from Hubei. I would like to ask my colleagues how to address the problem of clumping that occurs when producing phosphoric ammonium using ore from Hubei. Thanks
