Discussion on filtration issues in butyllithium production

In the production process of butyllithium, there is a dispersion process that requires filtration. The filter cloth in the filter was replaced just about a week ago, and since then the filtration speed has become very slow. What could be causing this slowdown in filtration speed? Have other professionals encountered this issue? Thank you
It’s probably due to the high viscosity. Additionally, it depends on whether the size of the filter cloth is appropriate; in the past we used filter cloths that were too large and thus wrinkled, which easily led to the problem mentioned by the original poster
