The staff operating room for the ammonia processing area is located within that area itself. During a provincial safety inspection last week, an expert in safety practices for the petrochemical industry pointed out that this operating room should be moved outside the ammonia processing area. Experts, was it a design mistake by the original designers, or are there new design standards that require the operating room to be located outside the ammonia processing area?
The staff operation room for the ammonia plant is located within the premises of the plant; what exactly is the situation there, and how far is the operation room from the liquid ammonia storage tanks?
If it is within the explosion-proof area, it is a mistake on the part of the design team.
According to the design specifications； There must be a certain safety distance between the control room and areas prone to fire and explosion, as well as hazardous sources such as ammonia tanks; this was stipulated originally, but inspections were not thorough enough, which is why it was designed that way. Moreover, the quality of the design firms involved was not very good. Just as there are over a dozen requirements regarding the discharge of wastewater by chemical enterprises, initially people only focused on checking the COD level ； ammonia nitrogen ； It’s not that high levels of total phosphorus, turbidity, etc. are allowed; now environmental regulations are becoming stricter, and more tests are being conducted – do you understand? ； Hehe
