Purpose of detecting the dew point of purified air

What is the purpose of detecting the dew point of purified air, and what is its function?

My understanding is: aside from the possibility of freezing, the highest flow rate that a liquid can achieve is orders of magnitude lower than that of a gas (one order of magnitude means ten times)

Condensation water can interfere with the flow of gas through these pipelines, and at low temperatures (freezing point), it may cause ice blockages or problems with certain mechanical components.
