What are some quick and simple methods for treating wastewater with high COD levels?

There is currently 50,000 units of COD-containing wastewater, and I want to simply and quickly reduce the COD level by a large margin. I’m not sure if there are any good methods for this; has anyone mentioned that electrolysis could work?

Adding a little flocculant won’t have such a big effect, right?
I also need some expert advice. We foreigners are using a pump to increase oxygen levels, and it’s been four or five days now with not very good results!

The use of flocculants to remove COD is also conditional; it’s not possible for flocculants to be effective in every type of water quality. It is recommended to conduct more pilot tests to determine this.
It’s useless to just introduce air without microorganisms.
