Now, there is a process improvement project being carried out by another construction company, and it’s necessary to add an additional pipeline; this time, brackets are being welded directly onto the pipeline. I wanted to discuss this with fellow professionals, as it seems that the regulations don’t specify any requirements in this regard.

I haven’t been involved in pipeline design for a long time, but in our previous projects we also had gas pipelines and hydrogen pipelines. For new pipelines, I’ve seen the use of sliding frames that allow for direct welding; if anyone thinks direct welding isn’t feasible, please explain in detail. Thank you
