What is the reason for the extremely low water output in the recovery section of a reverse osmosis system? The normal water production should be around 7T, but currently it’s only 1T. Excessive discharge of concentrated water leads to waste of water resources. I’m seeking an explanation for this issue as well as solutions. Thank you very much! ! Another issue is that the water production rate of the reverse osmosis system does not meet the design requirements – it is almost half of what is specified. After adjusting the frequency converter to increase the pressure, the water production rate increases slowly until it exceeds the maximum value; even a slight increase still results in a continuous rise in the hourly water production rate, exceeding the highest allowable level. What could be the reason for this?
Is the reverse osmosis membrane clogged? Is backwashing scheduled? Inlet water temperature and conductivity both affect the outlet water of the system. Additionally, errors in the readings of instruments can also have an impact.
There was a blockage, but it has been resolved. Backwashing was never performed; the readings are taken from a float flow meter. The impact of temperature and conductivity shouldn’t be that significant...... Please help, thanks

Because too low a temperature directly affects the water production volume. 2. How many years has the reverse osmosis membrane in your equipment been in use? If 3 years have passed, it is recommended to replace the membrane. 3. What is the pressure difference before and after the membrane? If it’s too large, it means the membrane is no longer functional. 4. You have already performed backwashing.
