One grouting operation refers to the grouting of the bolt holes reserved around the foundation bolts, after the pump unit has been positioned and leveled by adjusting the shims and flat shims to set the horizontal level of the equipment foundation. Secondary grouting refers to the grouting carried out below the pump base, after adjusting the level using a level, tightening the foot bolts, and spot-welding the shims (taking into account the thermal expansion during welding, though this is generally not a problem). Axis alignment refers to the concentricity of the equipment itself, namely the motor; this is generally adjusted by modifying the height and position of the motor.
