According to Article 63 of the Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, which came into effect on January 1, 2015, in the event of a violation of any of the following provisions, the environmental protection authorities at or above the county level, or other relevant departments, shall transfer the case to the public security organs. 1. Construction projects that have not undergone environmental impact assessment in accordance with the law ; 2. Discharging pollutants in violation of legal provisions without obtaining a pollution discharge permit ; 3. Illegally discharging pollutants by means of evading supervision, such as through hidden pipes, seepage wells, seepage pits, injection, or by altering or falsifying monitoring data, or by operating pollution control facilities improperly ; 4. Producing or using pesticides whose production and use are explicitly prohibited.

In accordance with Article 63 of the Environmental Protection Law of the People’s Republic of China, which came into effect on January 1, 2015, those who violate any of the following provisions shall have their cases transferred by the environmental protection authorities at or above the county level, or other relevant departments, to the public security organs: illegally discharging pollutants by means such as using hidden pipes, seepage wells, seepage pits, injection methods, or by altering or fabricating monitoring data, or by operating pollution control facilities in an improper manner in order to evade supervision
