Regarding a career change in pipeline materials

I have two friends who work with pipeline materials; one switched to financial investment, while the other started his own business. What would be a good career change to pursue in the field of pipe materials? Whether it is this industry or other industries. At least development could be better.

I’m still trying to transfer the materials; it should be easy to find a job with those materials, right?
It’s hard to find for someone with little experience like me. Key industries are struggling, so there is not much demand for piping materials either. It’s hard to find those with little experience.
For those in the design field, switching to selling equipment is also an option.
Go into sales? I think I’d still prefer to work in technical support; actually, I’m quite interested in working in procurement as well
