Project background: Hydrogen production via water-coal slurry; the hydrogen output is 100,000 standard cubic meters, with a pressure of 5.0 Mpag and a purity of 98%. The other components mainly include CO, N2+Ar, as well as trace amounts of CH4. PSA is used for hydrogen purification, with a required purity of over 99.5%, and a yield of over 92% is sufficient. This one is too easy to manufacture. Are there any requirements regarding trace impurities? If not, the total cost for the entire set is 18 million – that’s just an estimate; no detailed plan has been developed yet, so the actual cost could differ significantly. The main issue is that the pressure levels involved are quite high, making it difficult to estimate the costs for custom-made components and valves

OP, you need to first check what the Ar percentage is; if it’s above 0.5, PSA cannot be used. As far as I know, domestic technology seems unable to separate argon using PSA (I’m not sure about foreign technologies). Solve this issue first before considering anything else.
The total investment in your project is around 2 billion. PSA purification is already in use, but methanation is more commonly employed; you also use it for oil refining, right?
