Lanshi Heavy Equipment wins the bid for the Jinchangyuan coal tar hydrogenation EPC project

On December 7, 2015, Lansi Heavy Equipment announced that it had won the bid for the EPC general contracting project of the 200,000 tons per year medium-temperature coal tar hydrogenation project carried out by Zhangye Jinchangyuan Coal Industry Co., Ltd.; the estimated contract value was 550 million yuan (including taxes). The project is located in the industrial park of Gaotai County, Zhangye City, Gansu Province. It was built jointly by Lanzhou Energy Investment Co., Ltd. and Zhangye Jinchangyuan Coal Industry Co., Ltd., with an annual production capacity of 48,300 tons of naphtha, 105,600 tons of diesel, and 35,400 tons of heavy oil. Construction on the project began in August 2015, with completion scheduled for October 2016 and delivery in April 2017. Jinchangyuan Coal Industry Co., Ltd. in Zhangye City was established in December 2008; it is a coal industry company that engages in logistics, coal gas production, as well as the processing and sales of raw coal.
Manufacturing companies have also started to engage in EPC turnkey projects, but it’s unclear how they are addressing the qualification issues.
