The purpose of small-signal clipping is to improve interference resistance, but it should not be done excessively; different manufacturers use different methods for this purpose – see the instructions for details
Why reduce the flow rate? Because, according to the characteristics of this flow meter, the error is relatively large when the flow rate is low, making it of little practical value. The resection amount usually does not exceed 10%.
Small-signal rejection was developed to address the issue of large errors in flowmeters when the input signal is very small, with the aim of achieving more accurate measurement results. Small-signal cut-off is a setting parameter in flow integrators; refer to the user manual when setting it.
